Scrub typhus is caused by Orientia tsutsugamushi, characterised focal or disseminated vasculitis and perivasculitis which may involve the lungs, heart, liver, spleen central nervous system. The clinical picture severity of symptoms varies widely. neurological manifestations scrub are diverse. Meningoencephalitis classical manifestation but cerebellitis, cranial nerve palsies, plexopathy, transverse myelitis, neuroleptic malignant syndrome Guillain-Barre other reported in literature. availability literature on limited to case reports mainly.
